No, wood, no one is shorting this stock to any real degree.

I think RK genuinely believes his long position. I have seen countless others with the same position (I even held it once) on penny stocks. I do not fault RK for his position on the stock. In fact I find alternate opinions openly discussed fruitful when in line with constructive comments and decorum.
