Institional buying can come well before $5. If there is a gem to be made money on, big guys gonna chase it, on expectation it will go and stay above $5, they can enter <$5. However some funds have limits not to own stocks below $5. Those funds come into play after we stay >$5 and lock some shares away. :-)

Anyway ones this stock caught upward momentum, a lot of big guys want to get into. I mean, up till now only Baupost Group owns a big position and some small retirement funds...
Also liked what, was it the CPQ sales guy?, said about the server projects: unlimited scalability, trying to cover everything. There might be a place for Transmeta in Compaq servers (blades)/web hosts as well...
