Lurking but never post. I believe a date will not make a difference, when there is a buyout they will pay .XX for the total shares out there. whoever is holding those shares they don't care. I think it works like that but could be wrong. The thing I don't understand is that if I were them I would have orders to buy up as much as possible at these bargin prices so there will be less .50 shares to be paid out?? then again maybe there are rules against doing that.. who knows I am just going with logic. just my opinion.
