Had Christmas with my father-in-law, and the three of us (wife, daughter, me). A far cry from when I was a kid in a family of 7 kids. We had presents filling the entire living room sometimes (my older brother was notorious at wrapping big boxes with small and often inexpensive gifts for us so it wasn't hard to fill the room). He bought an Atari asteroids game cartridge one year for me as a gift and put it in a computer box (I think shortly after Commodore 64s were popular LOL). Nothing but a bow on the box so I could see that it was a computer the whole time we were unwrapping gifts.
My top item for Christmas was a computer...
I didn't get the computer, but did get the box. Talk about bummed! Ah well, fun to look back on now:)
4 year olds sure do have energy! About time to go play some games with her.
