The grand total of my 'investment' was a little over $150 of mad money.

What tempts me is the potential reserves. The majors are running out. And, with the current financial mess, having gold in the ground is almost safer that having it in hand. Especially if the US Gov't decides to confiscate gold again. They can't confiscate it if it's under ground.

It would be better if KL risked $150 of his own hard earned money.
