Not the whole story...

Yea, Israel was willing to give back some land...BUT...No water rights, no mineral rights...No safe passage.

Water will be the new "war" over there soon.

Why do they keep building settlements on land they're going to "give back"?

"gave back gaza to hamas"

Really? This was from 2004 and the situation has gotten worse:

On the Verge of humanitarian catastrophe

In the West Bank and Gaza today, over 22% of children under five now suffer from malnutrition compared to 7.6% in the year 2000.

Over 15% of children under the age of five suffer from acute anemia, which for many will permanently damage their physical and mental development.

Food consumption has fallen by more than 30% per person.
Key high protein foods, such as meat, poultry and dairy products (especially infant formula and powdered milk) are now hard to obtain.

The numbers of people living in extreme poverty have tripled since 2000 to include 60% of the population. Even when food is available, many Palestinians cannot afford to buy it. More than half of Palestinian households now eat only once a day.

>>>Israel doesn't negotiate in good faith.....in order to beleive this you must be a little hot and fried too.<<<

This looks like the record of a country acting and negotiating in good faith?

The most extensive violator of Security Council resolutions is Israel. Israel's refusal to respond positively to the formal acceptance this past March by the Arab League of the land-for-peace formula put forward in Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338 arguably puts Israel in violation of these resolutions, long seen as the basis for Middle East peace. More clearly, Israel has defied Resolutions 267, 271 and 298, which demand that it rescind its annexation of greater East Jerusalem, as well as dozens of other resolutions insisting that Israel cease its violations of the Fourth Geneva Convention, such as deportations, demolition of homes, collective punishment and seizure of private property.
