Bullrider: Sounds like you had a good time with your father. Let's hope our offspring can look back and say the same thing. Here's another story about being out done. In 1987 I got married to my wife. For a honeymoon we went to the Pocono Mountains in Penn. One of the day trips our 'Honeymoon lodge' went on was to a huge shooting range in the area. I had my pistol with me (as about always) so we fired a few rounds. Then we went over to the skeet shooting range. Now to appreciate this story, you must understand that the only shooting my wfe had ever done was with a .22 semi rifle in the back yard as a child. No more than a few rounds a couple of times in her life.
Here's how it went, at the range in order to get a range cap, men had to shoot 6 out of 6 clays. Women had to shoot 5 out of 6 clays. Each attempt cost $5.00. To make a long story short my wifes 2 (TWO) hats cost her $10.00. My 1 (ONE) hat cost me $25.00. Crow tastes a lot like chicken. ~ shao
I have had to swallow my pride more than one time.
