See how quickly that changed. This happens a lot with precious metals and the U.S. market. I user to follow Gold/Silver very closely. It was very common for Gold to be up in Europe only to have it slide as soon as the U.S. market opened.
I'm still not convinced it is time to buy and the direction has changed. I don't care if I buy at the bottom or sell at the top. I would rather wait and be convinced of an upturn.
