Too bad they sold that building in ?Bloomington, MN. Thanks JNJ. I think they decided that they wanted control of the coating process with Merck, rather than watch them screw it up as JNJ did.

Regarding 10K...

Bridge, adding to your observation concerning purchase of office and warehouse space in Eden Prairie, I found the following statements in the 10K of interest:

1. “Drug/biologics delivery for pacemaker and defibrillator leads” was added to the application list for cardiac rhythm management (pg 9). This is in addition to the lubricity and hemocompatibility applications that were listed in the 2006 10K.

2. X-Cell Medical was not listed as a licensed customer (whereas it was in the 2006 10K). New licensed customers (not listed in 2006) include: Ambrilia Biopharma Inc., Corning Inc., elbion NV, Merck Inc., Paragon Intellectual Properties, LLC (pg 11). I knew about all of the new custormers with the exception of Ambrilia (which is using biodegradable microspheres from Brookwood to release octretotide for treatment of acromegaly).

3. The coated glass slide technology (3D-Link Activated Slide) for the genomics market became a non-exclusive license in 2007 (It had been an exclusive license to GE Healthcare; the CodeLink brand).
