#13983 RE: Mr_Bill #13974

I use static charts from Stockcharts.com and live active customized charts from a source that I have never shared, and likely will never share. I like to have an advantage in the markets. If you search the web for stockcharting software you will likely find several available. I also use microcaptraderpro and a few other tools. I look at about 160 stocks a day and trade many. There are also a lot of scanners available as well. My suggestion for anyone new to charts is to review stockcharts.com's chart school, customize a few charts for your trading style and test them to see what works, then use them regularly. I say this after buying 5k-10k worth of software and services only to be confused and overwhelmed by everything before my eyes. Too much information for me at the time. When I put those things down and simplified the process, I got much more consistant in trading. In particular much better at picking entry and exit points. If you can fix those two things from 20% to 80% correctness, you will have a very stress free and successful trading life.
