I am very surprised that people would try and short TOVC. On a risk/reward basis this makes absolutely no sense to me.
Even if a person was completely down on the company's prospects, they would simply not go long and walk away - but to actively go short???????

FYI, at Wachovia and all entities clearing through its First Clearing, TOVC is unshortable.



(An aside: Nanjing Auto, owner of the classic MG car brand - I had heard that they deconstructed the actual physical plant for MG's in England, transported the whole thing lock-stock-and-barrel, and rebuilt it in China.)
