Well I didn't really care about log scale or even know why it's needed, but when I started doing some research, the thing that stuck with me is that the log scale makes for more accurate trend-line drawing. You can see a big diff if you look at the charts for QSC for example - esp the month chart -and toggle between Log on and off (on the right side toolbar). I think it makes more difference when there have been really large moves.

On another note, I have totally been looking at the MACD stuff wrong. I can't even figure out how to get my chart to display MACD histogram - just MACD. I didn't know what you were talking about with the inverted scale (not centering around 0), but I saw it when you posted the chart snapshot today from your SD display of RTK (#1484). Totally befuddled on that one.
