Total independance of the U.S. from foreign oil is still key to obtaining whatever level of peace is possible. If our American ingenuity would only start mass producing other forms of energy, we would probably even find other countries following suit more closely, thereby minimimizing on a broader scale, the dependancy and wars over oil.
