That's a lot of words to sum up "people are tired of dealing with crap". For many people a PC is now at the same technical level as a microwave - so the expectations for "just works" are much higher than they were in the past.

I'm old. I know what it means to live with crashes. My kids...do not.

Thanks for the interesting article. Today I sold 7 Macs to first-time buyers who were obviously craving that sophisticated simplicity. An all-switcher day.

Looks to me a lot like the articles are being written by AAPL investors. From another board. Who briefly inhabited our very own board. And then got their own. And then decided that wasn't enough.

'Nother Yazoo migration, in other words. We had our own shot, once upon. Louis took it. So did Paper and jr, peace be upon them.

I mighta written such stuff, if five years ago was yesterday.

Good on 'em, anyway.

FWIW, I think the excerpt you cited is ... questionable:
