I found this answer on yahoo answers; looks like Scotttrade has a Chinese branch in China; I am sure other brokers does as well; therefore, the Chinese can buy all the American stocks as they please. Go EFGO

With Scottrade, you can trade stocks, mutual funds, gold, silver, almost anything you wish. You must have internet access to view your portfolio and make trades.
