Top, as Kobi pointed out, there is a statute of limitations which applies here. A year or so ago, or longer, myself and others researched that, and found that it would expire in the not too distant future, if it has not already. It depends on the supposed violation, when it occured, and a couple of other factors that I am no longer clear on. The point being, that I do not believe that this can drag on for another 3-5 years without charges being filed due to the statute of limitations.

Maybe someone else kept the details. I don't think that I did and don't have time to hunt for it right now.

drilling and hitting oil will trump everything else. Addax isn't waiting for anything but a drillship. The investigations can only fine us at best. The so called investigation will not slow anything down....plus it's priced in,imo
It's why we sit at .205 cents....I however really don't think they can prove anything FCFP wise...jmho

I think many on this board, myself included, feel that the investigations are not going to amount to anything major in regards to penalties to ERHC. I just don't think there is any smoking gun to be found as all info would be in Nigeria and nothing is coming out of there to help US investigations. I also think many feel that ERHC will not be around in another 2 years as it will be bought out after drilling results are known (if there is in fact the oil we think is in our blocks). Always interested in hearing how others feel in regards to this matter.

XOM has a case pending now for 3 or 4 years from Equatorial Guinea, as do many other companies from different parts of the world, it doesn't hurt their SP as much as ERHE because they have many more assets than we do.....I am hoping it will be resolved after the Jefferson trail is over,as i believe Jefferson tried to get ERHE to pay him and was turned down,

the DOJ needs the folder from the files of ERHE to prove an on going criminal intent to support RICO........ but we have no guaranties, we have a world class law firm working for us, so i have great confidence all will be well,
