#3326 RE: Guardian #3325

guardian,

the first few entries may be out of sequence. It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago when a poster suggested that we add exact dates of buys/sells to the chart. It was then that I went back and tried to "guesstimate" the first couple of days by going thru posts. I would say the first 5 might be a little off.

However, since then, I have been keeping it up to date consistently.

A few of the trades were made on margin. Some may agree or disagree with that method. I personally wouldn't but Chartinator has a lot more experience with using margin than I do (I'm too chicken).

Hope this explains somewhat.

I maxed out my margin on my margin account to buy the Yahoo shares. Just like down below on the progress I bought 3000 shares of ETFC (using margin) and I bought IBAS on margin as well...I bought 3000 shares of IBAS but I only actually have 10,445.00 in cash.

As I posted last night in a previous post; I tend to be aggressive and more risk oriented. Where I feel I hedge my bets is by not playing pink sheets, subbies, or momentum plays. We try to pick good pure chart setups and good risk/reward scenarios. So yes I am using margin at times.

Secondly...yes...I did start with only 2k.....and yes...the gains are compounded...so with each trade...I've taken the entire amount...and placed it in the next trade.
