Your gloating comes from definite hubris, and it does not prove that you are good at making such calls in the future.
There´s absolutely no need for that. I argued that AMD64 would make both technical and business sense, loads of sense, and INTEL´s and Microsoft´s decision to make it the standard for volume server x86 64-bit computing proves that point best. You never agreed that AMD64 would be the way to go, until now that it can´t be argued any more. I don´t claim to have any special vision. I claim to have realized the (technical and business) merit of AMD64 a long time ago, along with the majority of posters on this board. You haven´t. In fact, you argued against that. Nothing more, nothing less.
