food4thought, all good points, so let's look at it paragraph by paragraph. Please keep in mind that I'm taking a "Private Investigator's" viewpoint to what's going on ( previous life) and am using that experience as my guide. Could I fall flat on my face in this arena? Hell yeah!
First paragraph. Why create a sense of serenity that would obviously be short lived. Too, if they did indeed purchase in the amounts we'd really like to see, could/would they not bring down the wrath of the SEC due to the "appearance of "questionable" insider trading. From what I can gather, it does seem to be a rather gray area.
No argument with the second and third paragraphs, but what if these purchases are for our benefit (in a good way) and not just smoke and mirrors. As you stated... it'll hardly make them or break them.
Three and Four. You are right, Neuro has indeed brought up various scenarios to digest. The comment about someone making six figures investing 15K-50K? Yep, it can be viewed that way, but then why even bother doing it in the first place? It would seem unnecessary, unless you are right about a ceiling.
Your last two paragraphs? To tell you the truth the Xmas reference was a little "tongue in cheek" on my part, but the burden of proof would be on the SEC. I just don't have enough knowledge of where they draw the line on what's allowed and what's not. However, I do think that even in these small amounts, they'll have to stop buying now if good news is indeed coming by years end.
Finally, don't ever worry about draining happy gas form my ballon. It's good to agree to disagree. I'm just putting what I know about human nature to the test here. Also, I don't think your attitude was negative at all. You were just giving your take on what I wrote. Take care!
