TopHat...I've followed many OTC and Pinkie stocks literally from "cradle" to "grave" and in 90% or more of the companies, negative posters ended up being correct in the long run. Their details may not have been 100% correct, but the tone of their posts were dead on... Most of the companies are not scams...just not successful and very good at hiding "bad" details like high salaries, bonuses, etc.... Many companies were "salary" scams...ie., selling shares and paying themselves big money for salaries and/or trips around the world... They had actual businesses, just weren't that concerned about being successful and actually working hard...
Some of the Pinkie oil companies are actually money making enterprises, but dump shares to buy new equipment, drill a few more wells, or acquire leases....just Mom and Pop companies using shareholders as an ATM... I suspect ALRY and HMGP of being a couple of examples of those...
I'll just do momo plays anymore on Pinkies and just watching for exit points as a bagholder on a couple including EDEX..
