Simple started trading my forex pratice accout yesterday.
So far i'm up $995,Was wondering if you had a favorite time frame and indicators for the charts on forex.com.
I'm stuck between the 10 min.and 15min. charts,found the 1 min.chart to volitile with the spread on most of them.I'm using the Slo Sto 5,3 and the macd 2,4,9 as my indicators.Any suggestions would be appreciated.It's alot of fun by the way!

Hi SG. I too am leary of the equity markets. My trading account is down 66% since I started trading using TA as recommended on this board. It seems I get a good entry point according to the indicators, only to watch them fail and reverse. It's almost like they know what we are doing, give us the "set-up" then head fake and go the other way so fast you can't even enter in your sell order before you've taken a loss.

Question: Why FOREX? Why not trade other highly traded commodities like gold, silver, or even soft commodities like coffee, cocoa, etc. The reason I asked is that I have noticed that coffee (for example) is at or very near it's 2 year low. Why limit youself to currencies? Max.
