#38566 RE: songbirdia #38563

Thanx songbirdia. I'm never sure of what I'm talking about either LOL.

It was just necessitated by the misunderstanding I apparently fostered when I was not clear about the compilation of the C/C++ code. It had been called into question, so I just wanted to straighten it out before the wrong ideas took root.

I wasn't really intending to trade today anyway. I expected low volumes as a lot of the exchanges were sure to see people leaving early or playing hooky entirely. So, I took the time to try.

Just in case someone does want to develop in C/C++, its better to explain what I think is the way it works than to let a completely incorrect explanation be the last word on the subject. Especially since I asked about it when the demo guy was cruising by that particular detail. I just kind of went, "Whoa there buddy... just one minute. Can we dig into this a bit?" So, I took the time to recount what I saw and was told. And anyway, there was a bunch of camo smoke laid down about Perl 6 that was 100% irrelevant to Spooz anyway, so I pretty much had explain to my first post about C++ better than I had. What was going on was a bunch of mind numbing techno-jargon was being used in a post whose general message was that the scripting in SpoozToolz is not particularly interesting. Well, excuse me, but I think it is VERY INTERESTING and so I decided to post instead of trade today. Slow day anyway.

Based on the demo, it looks to me like you can pretty easily use scripts to augment SpoozToolz, and you can also generate code from your scripts and incorporate that code into something outside of SpoozToolz. I don't actually know whether the code that is generated can be itself compiled and run. The guy who did the demo (I'd have to go back to my notes and I'm out of here so forget that LOL), was not indepth on the subject.

Have a fine T-day all.
