I agree I'd rather see it differently also. We have to pay the stock to buy it, they get it for "free". But, I guess, fact is that not many (big) investors know about GTEC. To get people to notice this stock they have to create awareness. The companies that can help GTEC are not going to help them for free... and for GTEC its cheaper (I think) to give away some stock than to pay tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars.

My guess as to why they would want to promote their company via this vehicle is that each dime of share price is worth about $30 mil. in share/capital with which to make acquisitions and such. I also like the fact that they are covering all the bases, especially as we are listed on the BB... they want the share price higher for either uplisting or future purchases.

So, now they have a way to promote GTEC based on fundamentals, PR's (CCG Elite), and also to the little guys via CRG. Then they do the dog and pony show with the institutions and they've hit the whole spectrum of investors. Seems prudent and wise to me.
