Always tough to buy "breakouts", I try to then get in "for a buck discount to the day high", but from time to time, I will buy on stop a break (I did that few times on the bu$$ and few other stocks.).

Talking about BLTI, you brought it to my attention on 12/20, and I spent some time analyzing it coming to the conclusion that a breach of $16 should be bought (#msg-1977246), the high till then was $15.75 and it was around $14.5 when I did that analysis. The buy on a breach of $16 was "the plan", and the plan was dutifully executed on 12/23 (#msg-1989589), namely buying a breakout. As you cab see one plan that worked like aq charm, and thanks again for bringing BLTI to the thread's attention. I think a lot of readers have done very well with that one. O bviously for "new comers" to this stock the situation is different. At the time I put "fair value" of $25 on BLTI, now the tactics should be to either buy on a retrench to just above $18, or a breakout above $21.40. Of course, there might not be much left if all BLTI achieves is "fair value". But as GIVN has taught us, these stock rapidly go to "overvalue", so I would not be surprised to see BLTI getting very close to $30/$33 in the next few months. If the next few months in this one will be like the last two months, I surely will not be one to complain (g).
