Because you don't have 25k in your account and margins are not enabled. I'm a pattern daytrader status and my funds are instantly availabe, but I don't have to wire money in anymore either.

Yeah...it's BS isn't it??

I've gone the rounds with them about the 3 day wait before...they say it's to allow the funds to "clear"...well my argument is if it shows the money in my account then it has been cleared!...I've yelled loud enough before that they let me use the money a bit sooner.

chunky-g, if you ach money, they hold it till it clears the bank. But if you WIRE it the funds are available immediately. Just something to keep in mind for next time. Its worth the $20 wire fee if you want to use it immediately.

Somewhat OT: I have been with SWVC from the beginning and have many millions of shares. I currently use Fidelity as my broker and the commission level is killing me...they charge .005 per share or 5% of the transaction, whichever is less.

However, there has never been a problem trading through them...unlike some posters to this board have mentioned from time-to-time regarding SWVC or other penny / pink stocks. Some of you have mentioned 'restrictions' on trading through some of the on-line brokers, requirements to call-in orders, problems with L2 info, etc.

I met with the TDA folks at the Las Vegas Traders Expo last week / end and it sounds like they have a pretty good system for a much more reasonable commission....$10.00 per trade regardless of the number of shares involved.

Does anyone have any comments pro or con concerning trading through TDA or use of their APEX tools?

TIA for any advice you can provide.
