I expected someone to post this. What was the genesis of this newsworthy item? Oh, McClelland just has a book out, surprise, surprise. So, we have an excerpt that seems to promise something juicy about the President. I doubt that the book would get any attention if there wasn't something salacious.
Reading the news article, I notice that the publisher states that McClellan is not stating that Bush lied to him. So, I will wait to hear the actual release of the book.
For my part, I could care less who was behind identifying that Plame was involved in the CIA sending her husband on a nepotistic junket to Africa. This is not a crime or a scandal, other than Plame's own despicable abuse of her position at the CIA. I'd like to see her tried for perjury.
By the way, how is the Wilson's lawsuit against the administration faring?
