First, as you can see NWOG that “went bankrupt” was registered in St. Petersburg, Tambasova Str. 12. “Our” NWOG’s address is located in Moscow and Saratov.
FWIW (with reference to NWOG’s contact): Mr. Malyshev is very attracted to this name “North-West Oil Group”. This was the name of his first business in St. Petersburg, before he met “right” people from Lukoil and SurgutNeftegaz. He didn’t close that first company properly and started “big enterprise” in Moscow. He is so obsessed with this “North-West Oil Group” name that named US public company the same way (source of many confusions) and resisted all my suggestions to start new clean business with new name.
Conclusion:
This “bankruptcy case” has nothing to do with current CJSC NWOG, the "paper problem" was resolved in early 2007, CJSC NWOG is alive and blooming. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about public NWOL, which is also alive but fading. :( But this has nothing to do with that "bankruptcy" case.

BTW, I am searching arbitrage court site by case #s. It doesn't show any records anymore which confirms that the paper issue was resolved by Malyshev: http://www.arbitr.ru/

Maria to Eik (1/18/07):
"This company was established before our company and Mr. Malyshev was ( I am not sure but I think) CEO of this company, than he left that company and established his own new company with the same name, some how that company it seems got some problems with taxes payment if they did not even bother to update their files and still have Mr. Malyshev name in it.

We do not have any idea what is going on with that matter, we just found out about it from your email.
