Centurion Energy International Inc.: Update On Robbana-2
Exploration Well-Tunisia

CALGARY, ALBERTA--Centurion Energy International Inc. (TSX: CUX;
AIM: CUX.L)

Centurion is pleased to provide an update on the status of
drilling operations of its Robbana-2 exploration well which was
spudded on January 23, 2004.

The Robbana-2 exploration well has now been drilled to a depth of
approximately 2285 meters and is penetrating the first target
zone being the Upper Sands of the Lower Cretaceous Meloussi
Formation. A 20 meter thick channel sand was encountered in the
interval 2240 - 2260 meters where good porosity, live oil
staining, bright yellow direct fluorescence and increased
background gas were observed.

Drilling is continuing to the total depth of approximately 2800
meters to test the main target being the Basal Sands of the Lower
Cretaceous Meloussi Formation. Upon reaching total depth expected
around the 10th of March, the well will be logged, cased with a 9
5/8" Casing String and tested to fully evaluate the hydrocarbon
potential of the entire Meloussi section.

The well is being drilled on Centurion's Robbana Concession
located in south-central Tunisia on Djerba Island. Centurion has
an 80% working interest with no government back-in right.

This is the first well to be spudded as part of Centurion's
planned active drilling program in Tunisia and Egypt where
fifteen wells are planned for 2004 and a further eight wells are
planned for 2005.

In Egypt, Centurion's seismic acquisition program in the El
Wastani area is nearing completion and the first well in Egypt's
drilling program is scheduled to spud during the third week of
March.

Centurion is an active explorer and producer in both Tunisia and
Egypt and currently has company-wide production of 10,400 boepd.
