Silverthorne would be a an arch different from Penryn..I neither heard Intel saying so

Intel stated this at least 40 times that I recall since the Intel Analyst report, and IDF was awash with Silverstone presentations, photographs, demos etc.

You had to be deaf and/or blind if you reviewed the IDF material to believe that Silverstone and Penryn were the same.

Wait a minute ! AMD did not say that Silverstone and Penryn were different! Unless something is validated by AMD management and spokesperson, it cannot be true !!
