I happen to agree with the concept of pre-treating with immune-ablative therapeutics. That said, I'm starting to believe results from trials like these wildly vary depending on the mouse models. The more I talk to onc researchers about preclinical testing, the deeper understanding I get about how truly terrible the animal models are for cancer.
