What makes you think they weren't approached by that distributor?? They may have some blanket ads out there for distributors in the hopes of catching any global customer of interest.. They may also have determined that there is some low hanging fruit over there and so why not pick it? Or they may see that this will give them visibility with some European car makers for a potential after market deal down the road.. who knows?? Growth is growth.. Hard to second guess them when we don't know the circumstances nor do we have all the market statistics and ROI's for distribution channels in front of us. IMVHO.

Edd, why would they go to the UK before they have dented the US???? Are you kidding? We get our product made in China, word is they are at 30% capacity to what they can put out,, we have ships coming over here right know to handle our new suppliers, we are zeroing in on outlets. It wouldn't surprize me if they got quite a few hand shakes in VEGAS. The other block buster is,,, new products,,, to go with mufflers, and we have whole mufflers systems from manifold to tips,, 40' cntainers are filled with aero mufflers on there way, and everyday more are being made 24/7. We are going to grab every market that even glances our way,, and when they see we are reliable and hands on,, we will win them!!!
