I think I have it figured out. Most of Calypte's investors can't read English and have to a wait for a translator.

You are right Jommeke,

The big news hit the past couple of weeks. Now, there is a lull while awaiting the orders and filling of orders for World AIDS Day and awaiting China approval.

We know Kenya has announced Worlds AIDS Day plans with use of Calypte tests on their store shelves. So, that is anticipated and a given. We know the Dubais Office has been opened for seventy one days and sales staff are marketing from there. We also know the policy for reporting revenue and sales of the company is:

"We record revenues only upon the occurrence of all of the following conditions:

• We have received a binding purchase order or similar commitment from the customer or distributor authorized by a representative empowered to commit the purchaser (evidence of a sale).
• The purchase price has been fixed, based on the terms of the purchase order.
• We have delivered the product from our manufacturing plant to a common carrier acceptable to the purchaser. Our customary shipping terms are FOB shipping point. Because of the need for controlled conditions during shipment, we suggest, but leave to the purchaser’s discretion, acquiring insurance for the value of the shipment. If the purchaser elects to insure the shipment, the insurance is at the purchaser’s expense.
• We deem the collection of the amount invoiced probable. To eliminate the credit risk associated with international distributors with whom we have had little or no experience, we require prepayment of the order or a letter of credit before shipment.

Except in the event of verified product defect, we do not permit product returns. Our products must be maintained under rigidly controlled conditions that we cannot control after the product has been shipped to the customer." (SEC Filing)

We know over forty percent of the revenue this last quarter came from South Africa, which indicates a growing market there that is apart from the Kenya market. We know sales of tests were made to Taiwan and South Africa. We also know that sales of BED tests transpired in Botswana, Tanzania and Kenya.

We know from former press releases several months that sales to India will most likely not transpire until the beginning of the new year.

We know USAID monies are available from now until September of next year and orders coming from the USAID approval announced two months ago, will not be reflected until the next quarter due to the above policies.

So, its sit and wait for the next press release or conference call to announce any of the following:

Major order shipped to Kenya
China approval
Orders from South Africa
Worlds AIDS Day Activities

You are right, the results are not as important as the bashers think. It is the quarters to come and the year end totals that matter.

By the way, the bashers are on ignore. The board looks so much nicer without their wild speculations.
