I knew that Anadarko was testing the other but the PR you posted states 2 other large CBM companies. I work with all the major CBM companies in the Powder River Basin to some degree except Marathon. I'll do some checking and see who else is trying it. Have a bunch of appointments next week.
Talked with an environmental engineer today that specifically deals with the various water problems with the CBM business. Very interesting guy and informative.
His take on the Big Cat tool is that the jury is still out. He said there is lots of buzz about it but he said anytime someone claims to have a method to bring the gas to surface without the water- it creates buzz.
