It's a harsh reality but once you force yourself to wake up to it you can move on and be better for it.
The empire is crumbling and the only thing one can really do is be prepared for it by doing things like buying physical gold and silver and investing in resource companies.
Once you've properly prepared yourself you can move on from the depression of the harsh reality since you know you will be secure due to your prepartion. And then after that you can live it up while the party still lasts!
I'm secure in my beliefs and don't try to force them on anyone but I have a wealth of info to share if/when they ask for it. Once everyone you know is asking you the top has come and it is time to buy back that old house for cheaper than you could have imagined and buy those tech stocks and whatever else that has survived, but that point is still far in the future.
As far as the roll call on portfolio holdings, I am nearly 100% gold and silver both in the physical metals and the miners with top holdings being GORO TBLC SLW IPT.v FGOVF TUMIF EXK RBY LV.v SMR.v MNEAF OK.v. BYBUF MMRSF. I have no base metal plays outside of moly with some GPXM and WEX and have no oil stocks but a couple of small uranium positions.
