Thanks Bull! I understand those concepts, just still confused why IVOI PR's that you must OWN on the 14th, which I understand is 3 business days after the ex-div date and also coincides with settlement date for funds on trades. If I sell today, the funds of the trade won't settle until the 14th, but does that equate to being an owner of IVOI on the 14th. The PR says must OWN! Maybe I'm splitting hairs, just don't want to sell and miss the shares. Don't want to hold through the next plunge down to .0015. Why do the PR's NOT mention ex-div date (It is assumed by experienced traders I guess) but they continually stress the importance of owning on the 14th, does that mean holding on the 14th or not? Sorry beating the dead horse now..
