CLF - Apparently, BHP is going to proceed with it's effort to take over Rio Tinto. BHP has been calling for the highest increase in iron ore prices for next year which has really p___d off China. If they can get control of Rio Tinto, then there will be only two really large iron ore players BHP and CVRD and that would effectively ensure high iron ore prices for years regardless of economic circumstances. If this happens CLF will become a gold mine. CLF was my biggest winner a couple of years back, and I expect it will drive my portfolio's performance through to the end of 2008.
