Pretty impressive and/or creepy stuff, however (depending on your POV).
Making machine-disabling tech available to aggrieved customers might be empowering, but putting it in the hands of software vendors or content sellers in order to enforce licensing terms would be worse than creepy.
In my mind it depends completely on whom Apple gives the reins to this stuff. Imagine MSFT shipping this tech: it would prevent access to your files after your software license expired!
