Do you think doctors are not going to charge for office visits when they use the e2? The insurance companies will not reimburse the doctors beyond the "usual and customary" amount they pay for a Pap test. If a doctor wants to serve champagne in the waiting room it is fine, but they better pay for it out of what they make by charging larger fees to people without insurance. The success of this company depends on having a test system that insurance companies will pay for because it saves them money. In the rest of the world, cost is still the issue, since no developing country like India or China is going to use a test that is more expensive than the Pap test, which they already can't afford to use on all the women in their countries. Insurance companies do not care about saving lives, for the simple reason that chances are by the time a woman who had an inaccurate Pap test dies, she will be insured by some other company, or perhaps uninsured.
