none other then what was on the FL pr, at the bottom of the pr was a (small print) about fl work with Mercedes,, not much, but it was there,, Mercedes I'm sure is the same as Volvo, do not like there name linked with US co.s. You won't find any big prs about Volvo being made by Ford in 1999 eather, these names alone are legend, and even today most people don't realize these cars are made in the US, or linked with US manufactures. From my standpoint we have not done any real faveors for these co.s, we were just able to lower cost, and people could buy the name for less money, turns out we still charged close to the same money and the engineering was not as good. Kinda like what we did with China. Now we have to send engineered quality control people to China to make sure we are getting what we asked for. Recalles cost alot more then just doing the job right. We used to laugh at things made in Japan, well not any more, almost all of out high grade steel comes from Jupan,, and so on,, there is alot more to this, but I'm sure you know that already,,,everyone sing "it a small world after all",,, val
