I thought once! It was a great thought too but
I forgot what I thought.

Once, I thought I'd hooked a big brownie (brown trout)
at Wildcat falls, around the Joyce Kilmer National Forest...
I was using a light fly rod and a piece of cord I cut from from my warm-up pants,
cause,
I'd lost all my black flies.
It worked too!
Took a half inch piece of cloth,
burned one end,
frayed the other, put it on a
naked hook I found lying on the ground (there's a fish God afterall), anyway
I casted and landed the fake fly and
WHAM, A FISH! A BIG FISH TOO!!
dernit, I had just learned how to fly fish and
I wasn't any good at hookin em.

I've never caught anything bigger than six inches since.
I bet if I had of hooked that brownie, it would have
weighed in at a few pounds.

The thing about Brown trout is,
they're skiddish, hard to catch too.

Wildcat falls pool is full of 'em (or at least it was when I was backpacking in my earlier years).
I did catch a few rainbows about 4 inches long.
I was so afraid of losing them,
I yanked so hard, hooked em sooooooooo
hard, they came flying out of the water
and into the bushes...
pretty much killed 'em instantly...
it's all in the technique...
now, i'm too soft, i can't even kill a worm!

I just bide my time...feeding the birds,
counting headlights...

Just discovered this sexy young man today...

wooweee, to be a few years younger...
I'd rock...lol

I have found my brown trout i do believe.
It's not brown today though, it's green in a sea of red
and ya know,
it's about damn time!

What am I lying about? This story was based on Fox news video and audio. See the logo in the lower left hand corner? Watch and listen to the damn thing and then tell me what part of the reporting on this was inaccurate or untrue.
