Cass...a few months ago I confronted Putnam on the write back patent issue...He finally told me that they were not persueing the patent because many other companys were doing the same thing...I know that this info will pop many bubbles on Agoura...( they probably will not believe a basher such as I ) but...In no way am I standing up for management because I remember somewhere that edig said that it was pat. pend. The company also alluded to a patent pending for the encryption method used on the Digeplayer...So far...that e-mail has gone unanswered...Go figure...

CASS, actually you're comparing apples to oranges. The HD1213 is an integral part of the entire Eclipse system. The HD1213 is not the whole solution. It simply integrates into the available head units that Eclipse already has or will have out. And actually the HD1213 concept will give any current Eclipse head unit more capability. The avx2494 can only get music on it by ripping directly from an inserted CD or memory stick. You can't hook it up to your computer like you can with the HD1213. Plus you can't wirelessly connect from your driveway, like the HD1213 will possibly do in the future.
Stick to the share price, SEC registration info and company financial analysis...that's what you are good at.

Cassandra...START!!!...we're WAY past that. They "started" doing exactly what you just outlined a LONG time ago...it has been their MO for five years now (and probably longer). As far as I'm concerned, they have no other operations to speak of. I, like you, don't want to just outright call them liars...they know in their hearts if they are or not...but I would say that they have played this game so long that EDIGspeak has taken on the same "truthfulness" as "governmentspeak" in 1984. If it serves the purposes of the company and its investors (NOT shareholders)...who are sitting pretty...it IS truth...whether it connects to reality in the REAL world or not...it DOES connect to the EDIGreality...all that goes on in the EDIGworld...of which this BB plays a major role.

Congrats to all the roleplayers here. Let the play continue...but I gotta wonder just what it will take for EDIG shareholders (the commoners) to realize they're in a play within a play...and that unfortunately, though they paid real money to watch the play...the play within the play has no real money.
