Smallpops, Re: What is this IA32E thing? Is that what Intel is calling their AMD64 compatible part.
If so I believe all major databases have been ported to AMD64 also.

IA32E == AMD64, but I don't think any of the major databases besides DB2 have been ported to this architecture.
