Do you sincerely believe that a company willing to fork out that kind of cash in a buyout does so without doing their due diligence?
Honestly..think about it. You don't accumulate that kind of buying power by making stupid decisions.
Man..you'd think it was a buyout of a lemonade stand, the way you throw around your speculations.

Not exactly. If you have a company with the technology and product and copyrights, or whatever, and a buyer sees this as a good long term $$ maker, then just because debt is a lot more than cash doesnt mean nobody would be interested in it. Remember, companies tend to accumulate a lot of debt in the first few years even though they have a gold mine, it still doesnt mean a lot of $$ cant be made in the later stages by them or a buyer.
