DD = Due Diligence; it is the time you spend digging into SEC reports, US/State/County records, curriculem vitae on company officers, calls to newpapers/brokerages/friends localted near the company, predictive charts and graphs on company performance, review of comments by industry experts on this company's claims to fame ro expertice, BBB and court records searches regarding business honesty, etc. - preferably before you've squandered this weeks allowance on a "..whizzer..".

AKA: anything besides a Fluffy-Arse PR, like the Bozo's on RavingBoolschmidt try to pass off as DD. Including posts by pseudo-BS-I-CALLED-THE-CEO posters.
