Hey, Valorie, thanks for the info. The product makes sense for local water production and it can mean the difference between life and death in certain situations.

I'll check out the large-scale possibilities.

interesting concept,...will have to do some more DD on the company, it's patents, it's ability to market the product, it's monthly burn rate, it's financials, and it's ability to produce the line of products should it become a main stream need.

i like the *concept* of pulling clean and pure drinking water out of the atmosphere. just have to be proven that it can be done. yes, i know that there are pictures of the companys home-use and commercial product line on their website but the final test is the actual use of their products in everyday life.

the Mars Society Mission news did catch my interest. the only catchy thing in that PR is,.. it states: ,..."Two of Wataire's WII-4010 atmospheric water generators, capable of supplying 10 gallons of safe daily drinking water for the 7 crew members, were provided by our former technology holder, Wataire Ecosafe Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:WTAF - News) prior to the execution of the technology transfer agreement."

that does not mean they the products are *actually* on that MSM. provided for use and actually in use,...are completely different. that is something that needs to be found out,...literally and specifically.

on a strictly T/A basis it looks like the pps is heading for a gap fill that occurred back in July '06.

i'll keep this one on my radar screen though.

valorie,...you mention in your post that "the patents are solid"

i went to the USPTO and all i get is "No Results for Wataire International Inc." or "Wataire" or "WTAR",...

could you provide the patent numbers since you state that "patents are solid". that would lead me to the logic that you must have those patent number(s) if you can make such a statement.
