I take it that you do not agree with the authors hypothesis of: "One obvious data series for measuring real economic activity is freight car loadings and trucking ton-miles"?

And what about the interview with Elaine Meinel Supkis when the moderator asked "Do you think the government is deliberately falsifying data on manufacturing to make the economy look stronger than it really is?", and her answer: Do alligators bite? Of course, they lie all the time.

Furthermore, I don't count this a doom and gloom. Change is comming. That may seem like doom and gloom to some, but it isn't. People who have a lot invested in the militaristic, materialistic and racist economies of this world will simply have to find a way to adjust. That's all. It won't be as hard as they think.
