Of course Cubicin is for treatment of Stapf MRSA infections. The infectious disiease specialist who prescribed this expensive treatment was also involved in the clinical trials of this drug. I am going to speak with him and see if he can explain the lack of awareness on the part of our media. I'll post result. PS The treatment with cubicin cost $7000 and I administered the intravenous treatment at my home.
The average health professional rarely ever sees let alone tyreats a staph MRSA infection. The Infectious disease specialists know abot it very well. As Community Staph MRSA keeps spreading and infecting large numbers it will become as well known as aspirin.
