WOW. Based on that, if I wasn't feeling so charitable towards the shorts, I would mortgage my house and buy a boatload of NWOL.

I see your logic. As soon as the shorts realize that the new shares will not be issued until global warming frees the ports of ice, they will panic and start covering, driving the price up.
