Encouragement is one thing, unfair help is another. You cannot give your little kid an unfair boost, otherwise he will not stand on his own. Playing nice isn't a part of business. My kids are 4 years apart and their natural tendencies to be competitors are coming out now and they are quite differrent, tortise and hare. :)
