I've seen plenty of stocks rally with a financing because of the funds themselves increase the intrinsic value of the company. The nonsense of "the stock must go down" is a bucket of horseshit. However, if you truly believe that, then you should scan daily for stocks doing a financing and short them. Your free lunch is awaiting.

uhh, PP's in the Canadian market at least are often followed by a POP in stock price, wanna see one from October? Check out AAE (canadian venture exchange). My wife got in on it at .50 cents just after the closing of a 14 million share PP by Lehman Bros at .35 cents which also included warrants at .35 cents if i'm not mistaken, stock ran to 1.75 and has now settled in the 1.20's at end of day today.

In fact i could name likely 20 stocks this year that myself or my family have been that ran up after PP's occured.

PP's often enable companies to proceed with plans and run a successful business. It can be the catalyst that moves a stock forward. From the PP date it depends on how they use the money i suppose.

Honestly I can't believe some big money hasn't stepped in somewhere along the way here with Uwink and come to terms for like 30 restaurants with a pile of money up front. I kind of figured it had the potential to happen, but obviously has not. I would like to see some new info on the restaurants scheduled for 2008 though.
